The Big Ten Conference is poised to begin its new year by unveiling its new TV and online marketing strategies and a host of new TV deals, according to a person with knowledge of the discussions.
The conference, which was founded in 2010, has been a haven for advertisers who want to target audiences on mobile and the Internet.
But it’s also been a focal point for the likes of Amazon, which has invested in the conference’s online presence in recent years, and Uni, the university that’s been the Big 12 conference’s largest tenant.
The Big 12 was founded to grow the conference, but Uni has expanded its footprint and the conference now has a television deal with ESPN, as well as the ability to partner with a number of big-name online ad agencies and online video platforms.
The conference also has a TV partnership with Univision, and a deal with the company that owns a popular soccer streaming service.
A conference source said the conference will announce plans to expand its television footprint this year and that the conference has plans to make more TV deals this year.
The source said that the conferences biggest new deal would be a new TV deal with Univison, which the conference already has an agreement with.
The source said negotiations between the Big 10 and Uni were ongoing.
Uni is not an advertiser at the conference.
The deal is not expected to be announced until at least March.
The school did not respond to requests for comment.
The Big Ten conference is expected to announce its new conference television deal this week.
A conference source told Fox Sports the conference is currently discussing potential new television deals with several major companies.
