The Canada’s biggest online retailer is expected to make the jump to the digital world as it closes its doors.
Cabela’s is closing its doors in Toronto.
The company said Monday that it will open an online store in Calgary, which will also be the site of its next location.
The Calgary store will open next year, the company said in a statement.
Cabot says it plans to open a store in the spring in Ottawa.
The retailer said it will continue to operate a local store in Winnipeg.
The company has been in business since 1971.
The Montreal-based retailer said last year that it would begin selling products online through its website and mobile app.
