News Corp Australia has revealed that it has received a “huge” offer for the development of a new mobile webstore web service for the online retailer.
News Corp Australia CEO Andrew Fenton has revealed the company has been approached by a “very big” consortium of developers to create a “mobile web store”.
“We are very excited to be working with this consortium to bring a world-class mobile web store experience to our customers,” Mr Fenton said.
“Our team have been working closely with them over the past few months and we believe that this is the next stage in our journey to bring an innovative, world-leading mobile web experience to customers across Australia.”
“We have been able to build an ambitious portfolio of new mobile applications and we are looking forward to delivering them on our platform.”
